About Us

We Care. We SHARE. We Empower.

Our Vision

For every young person to understand their intrinsic value and be strengthened to pursue healthy relationships.

Our Mission

To educate and equip the younger generation with an understanding of living with integrity and the benefits of making healthy sexual decisions. We aspire for every individual to experience the love and care they deserve in relationships and to understand how precious and valuable they are.

Our Goals

  • To inform young people on the positive aspects of sexual integrity and invite them to think through the influences of peer/social pressures.
  • To challenge youth to analyze cultural messages about sex and relationships.
  • To empower the younger generation to practice intentional decision-making and think critically about healthy choices.

A Brief History

S.H.A.R.E. (Sexual Health and Relationship Education) has been serving our community since 2009. Our program was envisioned and created by a team of dedicated staff and volunteers, spurred on by a shared dream of encouraging the younger generation to form healthy relationships and make good choices for their future.

In 2024, our SHARE team provided more than 170 presentations to over 2,800 students. The year prior, we provided 200 presentations to 3,550 students. Since 2009, we have presented to over 20,000 students.

Additionally, SHARE has given overseas workshops and leader training seminars in countries like Australia, Bhutan, India, Japan, Korea, Malawi, Nepal, Uganda, and the U.S.A.

S.H.A.R.E. is a community education outreach of the Christian Advocacy Society of Greater Vancouver. We are a non-profit organization serving our community by providing non-judgmental, compassionate support and information to women and men experiencing unplanned pregnancies, post-abortion grief, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

CAS outreaches include the Burnaby Safe House, OnlineCare Canada, Cedar Pregnancy Care Centres of Vancouver and Burnaby, Post-Abortion Community Services, Rape Victims Support Network, and The Nest Maternity Home.

In our 35 years of community service, we have assisted over 22,500 women and men. All of our peer counseling services are free and confidential.
